OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Leanne began dancing at age 5 under the direction of Joanne Ansell. Dance was always a passion for Leanne, completing all her RAD Classical Ballet Exams to Advanced 2 with honours, receiving call backs for both her Core and Major performances at HSC level, and attending dance class in LA, New York and London.
Leanne’s other passion in life is working with children. Leanne completed her Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching with Distinction in 2004, and has been working as a primary school educator for over 15 years.
Leanne has played a role at Dance Kinetic for even longer, leading our ballet syllabus for our Primary to Intermediate students for almost 20 years and by rough calculation has at one stage taught about two thirds of the DK teaching faculty.
With a young family Leanne has evolved her role at DK from purely face to face teaching to additionally managing the back of house administration of the school.
Leanne is proud to say her daughter is a student of Dance Kinetic and has inherited her love of dance in the nurturing environment that Dance Kinetic provides.
